Stacy has been putting pen to paper for as long as she can remember
As early as age six, she wrote short stories and poems and shared them with friends and family in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She was a newspaper reporter for 13 years before becoming a full-time author and freelance writer.
Stacy obtained a degree in mass communications from Jackson State University. She has participated in various writing programs, including the University of Maryland's Journalism Fellowship in Child & Family Policy and the Nieman Conference on Narrative Journalism at Harvard University. |

She is a member of Toastmasters International and a graduate of the CLASS (Christian Leaders, Authors & Speaker Services) seminar.
Her articles have appeared in secular and faith-based publications, including Heart & Soul and The Crisis magazines and on Crosswalk.com. She also contributes regularly to blogs on Crosswalk.com and Faithchick.com.
